Dr. Daniel Regan grew up in a small town on the South Shore of Massachusetts. He earned his undergraduate degree in biology from Boston College and then his Doctor of Dental Medicine at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine, where he graduated magna cum laude. He continued at Tufts to complete his orthodontic residency and earn his Certificate in Orthodontics.
Dr. Regan has a strong research background, spending six years conducting projects in the Trotman Facial Animation Lab in Boston. His research focused on craniofacial abnormalities including cleft lip and palate as well as facial paralysis.
He has achieved the status of Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics, a distinction earned through an intensive certification and examination process covering every facet of orthodontic treatment. Board certification at this level is achieved by a small percentage of orthodontic specialists.
Dr. Regan's passion for orthodontics came through his own experience with early treatment as a patient and years spent in orthodontic offices throughout his childhood. He values the relationships built with patients and families as their smiles come together.

Outside the Office
Outside the office, Dr. Regan enjoys time with family and friends, hiking and golf. Having grown up in Boston, he remains loyal to his Boston sports teams, which he notes don't clash too much with the teams in Illinois.
